School offers LGBTQ 'Safe Space'

Alleged incident at Randy Smith Middle School · Fairbanks North Star Borough School District · Alaska

A middle school offered an "explorations" class initially described as a "Gay Straight Alliance" for LGBTQIA+ students and allies. The school later altered the class description to remove LGBTQ references, though the name "Safe Space" remained. Students could sign up for the class without parental permission.
