Principal promotes 'whiteness' reflection

Alleged incident at East Side Community School · New York City Geographic District # 1 · New York

A high school principal distributed materials to parents that encouraged reflection on "whiteness" and included strong political commentary. These documents, which criticized conservative viewpoints and a former president, were presented by a school official as resources for reflection. The curriculum was developed by an associate professor of African American studies.
