District Skips State Moment
Alleged incident in Eden Prairie Public School District · Minnesota
A school district decided not to officially participate in a statewide moment of silence, citing short notice and a desire to maintain focus on instruction. The superintendent explained that coordinating such an event without proper planning could lead to misinterpretation. Staff were permitted to observe it individually, provided it didn't disrupt duties or involve sharing personal opinions with students.
