District gender identity policy
Alleged incident in Wrangell Public School District · Alaska
A school district maintains a policy allowing staff to withhold information about a student's gender identity from their parents. The policy also mandates the use of preferred names and pronouns, and permits facility use based on preferred gender. This policy was reportedly adopted from a model provided by the state's association of school boards.
